Margrethe writes queer historical romances set in the Victorian era and the early 1920s. Her f/f romance set in the 1920s, Miss Lonely Hearts, placed first in historical romance in the OCCRWA’s 2018 Orange Rose Contest and was a finalist in the Georgia Romance Writers’ 2018 Unpublished Maggie Contest.

In addition, Margrethe reviews romances for Love in Panels. She tends to review queer romances, but will occasionally be convinced to review a straight (m/f) historical.

She is also a geologist. Consider yourself warned, she talks about fossils, science, and the history of science more than the average person. She lives in Northern California with her very spoiled dog.

And Margrethe is pronounced like “ma-greta” for the curious.

Random aside: when Margrethe was feeling particularly silly recently, she started creating eye makeup looks around historical romances; her friend gave these #bookshadow looks their name, and they can be found on Instagram and Twitter.
